In past seasons, the Seahawks might have had a hard time recovering from the type of defeat they suffered Sunday. I get the sense this team is different. Many of the key players on this team have lived through worse (see: 2004 season). Also, this team has a Super Bowl on its resume, so tough losses aren't in the context of the franchise being doomed or never having achieved much. The weight of the franchise isn't resting on any one game. That is just the way I read the situation after nine seasons of covering this team. They have been there, done that and now it's on to the next game. They can afford to feel that way after winning the division anyway. Now, if the team suffers a similar loss in the playoffs, that would resonate a little differently.
