The Seahawks obviously are attempting to get their run game going. It may be difficult this week; the Steelers have gone 29 consecutive games without allowing a 100-yard rusher.
"We have great continuity here with our defensive personnel," Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said. "We have a great scheme implemented by Dick LeBeau. When you have those things, when you have a great scheme, you have good veteran players that have some continuity, you have a chance to be very good."
Tomlin said he was not tempted to change the system when he took over for Bill Cowher.
"I was not interested in fixing something that wasn't broken. I know that sounds cliche but it's common sense. You'd be surprised at the number of people that get into situations and they want to put their stamp on something or they want to show they're in charge. I'm just interested in winning."
Tomlin said Hines Ward is questionable. Troy Polamalu is probable.
