Seahawks lose 28-17, a game in which they looked pretty poor all the way around.
Mike Holmgren said Chuck Darby knee injury is probably serious, he will get scanned tomorrow to be certain but Holmgren did not sound optimistic. That was really the only injury.
Everybody said the Saints threw some things at them that they weren't expecting, especially blitz packages, part of the reason they gave up five sacks.
Boone Stutz said his snap was just something that happened, he and Plackemeier had worked on it all week and for some reason he skipped it back there. Everybody said getting down 21-0 was just too hard to come back from.
Shaun Alexander said he heard the booing. I'll post the exact quotes later but he basically said he has set the bar so high that fans come to expect big things, four TD games, and when he doesn't produce they get frustrated, which he understands. He said he doesn't know specifically what the issues are with the running game, but they have to keep working hard at it and he is confident it will come around.
Matt Hasselbeck didn't really know what to say about almost getting hit by the camera, other than he is thankful he didn't. He said it came very close to him, though, though he did not say it rattled him or fazed him after the fact.
I have to write my daily stuff now, but I'll post quotes when I can.
