(On getting used to winning) – "You better believe it. This feels good. Anytime you win it feels good, but I was impressed with the way the kids fought. They hung in there and just wouldn't give up. They made enough plays to get ourselves into overtime so we had a chance to win the game. We came through when we needed to. That is a good staple when you see your guys fight. They kept fighting and gave us a chance."
(On winning at home) – "It means that the home-field advantage that they talk about, we have it. Your fans know that you are going to play hard and that you will give a lot. They will be behind you and the energy they have transfers to the field. It helps."
(On the defense stepping up in the second half) – "They stepped up in the second half and adapted to how the game was going in the first half. We still gave up too many points in the first half. We have to tighten that up. We are going to work at it. It is a credit to them that they are able to make stops at the end, holding them to field goals so our offense could have a chance to move the ball and score touchdowns."
Never miss a local story.
(On winning replay reviews) – "Replays are replays and what goes around usually comes around. It feels good when you get them and they help your team win. It feels great."
(On America watching the Patriots vs. Colts this afternoon) – "Was there another game this afternoon? I told my guys that this was the biggest game in the NFL at Cleveland Browns Stadium today. That is what it was for us. It was huge for us to win."
