(Opening Statement) – "I give credit to Cleveland. Romeo (Crennel) and his staff did a nice job and they won a real close game. They are a very explosive offensive football team. The game was the type of game that I expected. Unfortunately, we couldn't make that last fourth down, otherwise, maybe we would have had a crack at kicking the field goal. It is what it is."
(On not making the important plays) – "Honestly, in those situations in the game tonight, we weren't very good. We thought we had good plays and we thought we made the necessary adjustments but it didn't work. I have to look at the film before I say anything more. We used to be pretty good at that but we aren't good at it now."
(On overturning the scramble by QB Matt Hasselbeck) – "I thought he did (get the first down). It was called 'good' on the field. They (officials) really have to see something pretty decisive to overturn it. That is the rule. We are looking at the same replay in our box as they are, I think. I just don't think you overturn it if it's close, unless they saw something that we didn't."
Never miss a local story.
(On RB Shaun Alexander's health) – "His knee stiffened up. They are going to do some x-rays on it. He got it twisted up under him early. His knee and his ankle got a little tweaked. As the game went along, it got a little colder and his knee stiffened up on him."
(On giving up 21 points in the second half) – "I think they beat us one-on-one. Without having looked at the film, they have good receivers and got in positions and won some of those. That was the difference. Give the young quarterback (Browns QB Derek Anderson) credit. He is having a fine season. (Kellen) Winslow gives you matchup problems anyway. They did a nice job in the second half."
