Holmgren said the injuries suffered Sunday don't appear to be serious. He said he expects RB Shaun Alexander, DE Patrick Kerney (oblique) and LB Leroy Hill (hamstring) to have a chance at playing against the San Francisco 49ers.
He also said he thinks WR Deion Branch and TE Marcus Pollard should return for Monday's game.
He added that Alexander, who suffered ankle and knee injuries, was pretty sore and probably would not practice much, if at all, this week. He said he does not have a hard-and-fast rule about how much a player needs to practice to be able to play, especially for someone who is a veteran.
