The Seahawks pieced together a thoroughly dominant first half, holding a 17-0 lead in a game in which Mike Holmgren stayed with his promise to pass more. Ten of Seattle's first 11 plays were in the air, and Matt Hasselbeck threw for 196 first-half yards, as well as a touchdown to Will Heller. Mo Morris looks pretty good in place of Shaun Alexander, and has a six-yard touchdown run off a draw play, something Alexander has not done in over a month. The defense, meanwhile, has three sacks, two fumble recoveries and has completely stymied San Francisco QB Alex Smith, who had -3 passing yards, if you can believe that, until he threw a 45-yard pass to end the half. Smith looks awful. It will be interesting to see if Holmgren continues to pass in the second half or if he goes more to Morris. The passing game looks great, and so does the defense.
