Middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu was selected as the NFL defensive player of the week for Week 13. Tatupu had 11 tackles and three interceptions in the Seahawks' 28-24 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Tatupu's third pick came with 14 seconds left at the 4-yard line to preserve the win. His first two interceptions, both in the first quarter, set up Seahawks touchdowns.
This is the first time in Tatupu's three-year career that he's won the award. He is the first Seahawks linebacker since Chad Brown in 2003 (Week 17) to be honored.
