(On setting the team receptions record…) "It all came together. This team is really coming together as a family. We've been through a lot this year. A lot of stuff that we keep in house. This team has battled this year. We're getting cranked up at the right time. We had a little bit of a bump in the road last week. But it was great to set a personal record, it feels really good."
(On his celebration after the record…) "It was a celebration towards my wife. We've been through a lot together, twelve years of my career. She's always been there regardless of what's going on. So I'm just letting her know I appreciate that."
(On next week in Atlanta…) "The things is, we've locked that third seed down now because of San Francisco winning. It's really going to be up to coach and the staff to decide who is going to play and how much. We want to keep the momentum. But at the same time, if you have a chance to rest a few guys who are banged up. Or you can get guys just a little bit more healthy. Whatever the situation is, I'm sure coach is going to handle that the right way."
(On this victory…) "It was great to break the record, but that's not why I play the game. That's going to be up to the coaches to decide how much I play, how much the rest of the guys play. I would love to go down there and get that win and keep it rolling. One hundred catches would be a great milestone, but that's not high on my priority list."
(On how last season has made this season even sweeter…) "Absolutely. Basically I had my health and my career snatched from my grasp in about two or three weeks. We had to scramble to figure out why. I've said this time-and-time again, our medical team did an excellent job of diagnosing what was going on. They jumped on it once I knew what I had to deal with. I was ok with that. It was just a battle to get back, I feel great. At the same time it was a blessing, though at the time I didn't see it. It's really helped me as a person. And it's helped me tremendously as a player. In terms of the way I take care of myself now, it's a whole different level."
