The Seahawks take a 9-5 lead into the locker room after the Bears kicked a 39-yard field goal with 21 seconds left. Charlie Frye has waffled between looking very good and looking very bad, while the defense has looked pretty darn good, I think. Leroy Hill has been sensational and Josh Wilson has made some pretty good plays.
Frye's favorite target has been Jordan Kent, who is making a good case for not only making the team but moving into the rotation of wideouts. He is the only one who has done anything of note. Courtney Taylor nearly caught a deep pass on the first possession but just missed it and has done nothing since. Justin Forsett continues to make play, returning a punt 40 yards to set up the last of Brandon Coutu's three field goals in three attempts. Mare has booted all but one kickoff into the end zone, though he did have the wind at his back in the first quarter. He has two touchbacks.
The offerings will be sparse in the second half because I have to write on deadline with the night start.
