(On the 'offensive identity'…) "We're not playing very well right now. I'd say, the offensive identity…We all just need to play better as individuals and collectively. There's things out there, there's plays that we made, I think when we watch the film tomorrow it's like every week: a block here, a block there, something pops. Then all of a sudden you have a couple of big plays. This league is about big plays. You have a couple big plays and all of a sudden you're having a good game. That's what we're missing out on right now. It's certainly a concerted effort on the whole team."
(On what they need to get the rushing game going…) "That's a good question. I'll have to watch the film. I know they were slanting around us a little bit and that obviously gave us trouble because they kept doing it. We really just have to be able to, as players, understand what they're trying to do to beat us, and make plays against that. Make big blocks up front and make things happen. We're just not doing that."
Never miss a local story.
(On whether part of it had to do with the fact that Philadelphia's defense is very good…) "They're a good defense, no question. They outplayed us, certainly. But I think when we watch it tomorrow there's going to be plays where we're just kicking ourselves, which is usually the situation when you're in the scenario we're in right now. We just got to keep fighting."
T WALTER JONES
(On why the offense was unable to stay on the field…) "We didn't make big plays. That's what the game is all about: making plays. And we didn't make any plays to help out our defense. We kind of changed the tempo of the game with that first play but then we couldn't generate anything after that."
(On the first play where Koren Robinson scored a touchdown…) "I think it was a great call by the coaches. I don't know. Just a great call. And Koren made a play on the ball that took it to the house."
(On whether the play was slated to run like that…) "That was just the call coming out of the huddle. Like I said, it was a great play call."
(On the inconsistent running game…) "We just got to stick with it and continue to keep fighting. I don't know. It's tough. It's like, you're out there fighting, the guys are out there fighting hard, trying to open the hole up for the running back."
(On not having Matt Hasselbeck…) "We're just not getting it done right now as a team. I don't think it has to with whether Hasselbeck is in there or not. We're working hard, we're just not making big plays like they did. We have to make big plays and we just haven't been able to make them. Last week we made them, but we just have to try to find a way to make big plays out there."
