"That's a good team, give those boys all the credit. We got behind. The defense isn't stopping them when we need to. The offense gets the ball and isn't scoring. Special teams can't score. It makes for a long day. That's what it was, a long day."
On the season: "The defense knew what we had coming back, but we didn't know how to play to our strengths. We're still figuring that out: what's our strength? Some of the players know what the strength is. Some of the coaches know what the strength is. But we just haven't put it together. I hate losing. I hate not being in the top 10, top 5."
On whether he was surprised by the Dallas offense: "I wasn't surprised. They have T.O., tall guys. Our guys are short. T.O. and I talked about it. He let me know they were going deep. I wish it would have been more in the middle – give me more opportunities to make a play.
On whether the Dallas offense is one of the most explosive in the NFL: "They are definitely one of them. You have to give them credit. They have a good running game. They have some tall explosive receivers. Crayton, number 84, he can get the ball in his hands and make plays. They have Witten and they have the other tight end – the young guy. And they have a good quarterback. You get things like that and a great coaching staff, you know, its downhill for you."
On Romo: "I didn't know he was like that. I didn't know he could get away like that. It shocked me. He made some great plays. We could attack them and he would make a great play to find Witten in that open spot. He surprised me. He did his thing today. You have to give them all the credit."
