Greetings from Arrowhead Stadium.
Well, it appears that there might be more to that tired arm issue that caused Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Flynn to miss the last two practices heading into today's game against Kansas City.
Although we were led to believe that Flynn would be okay to play against Kansas City, the LSU product is not dressed for the game today.
We've been told by the Seahawks he has a sore elbow. Flynn tried to throw in pre-game warm-ups, but was still in pain and could not go.
So Seattle will go with Russell Wilson as the starter today, with Tarvaris Jackson and Josh Portis as the backups.
We'll try to get more information on the extent of Flynn's injury after the game today.
Others who are not expected to play today include running back Marshawn Lynch, cornerback Walter Thurmond, defensive back Roy Lewis, cornerback Ron Parker, linebacker Allen Bradford, linebacker Matt McCoy, linebacker Malcolm Smith, offensive lineman John Moffitt, offensive lineman James Carpenter, tight end Cameron Morrah, receiver Doug Baldwin, defensive end Jason Jones and defensive tackle Pep Levingston.
