After visits to San Diego and Kansas City, Brian Banks will return to Seattle and participate in the Seahawks minicamp, according to his agent Bruce Tollner.
According to Tim Booth of the Associated Press, the 26-year-old Banks will workout with the Chiefs on Tuesday, and then participate in the final two days of Seattle’s minicamp on Wednesday and Thursday.
A high school star linebacker at Long Beach Poly High, Banks was recently exonerated in a California rape and kidnapping cape for which he was falsely accused after the victim recanted her story.
Banks served five years and two months in prison.
Banks participated in a tryout with the Seahawks on Thursday. After a productive workout, Seattle head coach Pete Carroll extended him an offer to tryout for the team’s 90-man roster at this week's minicamp.
Banks also participated in a workout in San Diego for Chargers’ brass on Friday. Minnesota, Washington and San Francisco also remain interested in Banks.
