According to Jones' agent, Mike McCartney, it's a one-year deal. Jones visited with Seattle on Thursday and Friday following a trip to St. Louis.
The Rams were considered the front runners, with Jones' former coach Jeff Fisher now in St. Louis.
But with the Rams signing defensive tackle Kendall Langford to a four-year, $24 million deal, including $12 million in guaranteed money, that freed up Jones and Seattle closed in on a deal.
Jones played mostly defensive end for Tennessee last year, but at 6-5, 276 pounds he'll likely be the inside pass rusher Seattle's been seeking in a rotation with Brandon Mebane and Alan Branch.
Jones is 25 years old. And he’s had pretty good production, finishing with 27 tackles, three sacks and five pass deflections in 13 starts last year for the Titans.
