First reported by Larry Holder of CBS Sports, I have confirmed that Seattle Seahawks free agent linebacker David Hawthorne will visit New Orleans on Friday.
Three other teams also have shown interest in Hawthorne, but has not arranged visits with those teams yet.
It remains a possibility for Hawthorne to return to Seattle, but so far things have not heated up in terms of contract talks between the Seahawks and the team's leading tackler the past three seasons.
However, the Seahawks reportedly have shown interest in Atlanta free agent middle linebacker Curtis Lofton.
Never miss a local story.
Other teams that would make sense for Hawthorne include Denver, Chicago and Detroit.
