First reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter, former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant will visit the Denver Broncos on Friday.
Trufant of course was released by Seattle just days before the opening of free agency.
The Broncos appear to be looking for depth at cornerback with Parrish Cox signing a two-year deal in San Francisco after off-the-field issues in Denver.
And Trufant also has a couple connections with Denver -- Broncos secondary coach Ron Milus and Trufant are both Tacoma natives. Milus played at Lincoln High in Tacoma and the University of Washington, while Trufant played at Wilson High in Tacoma and Washington State University.
Also, Trufant's former agent Mike Sullivan is Denver's cap specialist now.
