The Seattle Seahawks practiced outside today without helmets for about two hours.
Receiver Sidney Rice (concussion) and cornerback Byron Maxwell (illness) did not practice.
I forgot to mention in the previous post that Seattle head coach Pete Carroll told us that Maxwell had pneumonia the past couple weeks, but is getting better.
Linebacker David Hawthorne (knee) and cornerback Richard Sherman (calf) were limited participants. And quarterback Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral) and defensive tackle Alan Branch (ankle) were full participants.
Never miss a local story.
Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell talked about Mike Williams not having the same productivity he had last year, and how he can overcome that.
“I think the biggest thing is being able to practice,” Bevell said. “Practice full-speed, practice hard and getting on the same page as the quarterback.
“Then he’s had opportunities in the game. In the last game, he had some pretty good opportunities to make plays, and unfortunately we didn’t make those plays. That’s really what you’re judged on – all of us are. Whatever happens out here at practice, but when you put it on the field and put it on tape, that’s what we’re ultimately judged on.”
For the Eagles, offensive tackle King Dunlap (concussion), linebacker Moise Fokou (ankle), receiver Jeremy Maclin (hamstring/shoulder) and quarterback Michael Vick (ribs) did not practice.
Running back LeSean McCoy (toe), cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle) and cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (knee) were limited. And defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins (thumb) were full participants.
