Renton – The Edgerrin James experiment in Seattle turned out to be short-lived. The Seahawks announced the veteran runner’s release Tuesday, using the roster spot to sign wide receiver Mike Hass from the practice squad to the active roster.
The struggling Seahawks made a handful of moves today, including releasing veteran running back Edgerrin James. He gained only 125 yards in 46 carries for the Seahawks, though that was enough for the 31-year-old to move past Marcus Allen into 10th place on the NFL's All-Time rushing list with 12,246 yards.
Running back Edgerrin James was released outright by the Seahawks Tuesday.
