On joining the club: Last year Seattle Sounders did real well during the season. They made a name for themselves. That got my attention with the institution.
On not speaking English: There are a number of players that speak Spanish and I have spent a lot of time with them.They’re the ones that have explained to me the ins and outs of what’s going on with daily activities. In time I will be able to pick the language and I’ll be able to open up a little more.
On impressions from practice and weekend start against LA: As we know it’s preseason. We’re trying to adapt ourselves to what the league is all about. And I believe this is the moment that we have to work our hardest because this is going to be the basis that will assist us for the rest of the year. Against Galaxy it was a really good experience. I had the opportunity to assist with Marco Pappa scoring. It was a great experience.
In Colombia the play is a little more technical. Here it looks like it’s a little more physical. The trainers are working with me and trying to prepare me for that.
