So much looked good in the Sounders' opening 3-0 win over New England on Sunday; he was asked today what he wasn't happy with:
"I thought we were very effective and clinical in terms of our finishing. When you look at the goals we scored to the shots we had, I thought we were good that way. I thought we bent a little like a willow, gave them some possession on our end of the field. But really didn’t give them clean looks and clean chances, which when you’re playing a team that plays with an overabundance of guys in midfield that’s going to happen sometimes – that’s their game – but you want to make sure they’re not getting behind your defense, and I thought we did a good job of that. But you know, there’s always things that you want to improve upon and get better at: your speed of play, the cohesion, have the ball move a little bit quicker out of the back, where we held our back line at times on goal kicks and things like that. So there’s always things we’re working on and talking about."
