Here the release from the club:
Seattle Sounders FC 2 has signed Argentine midfielder Pablo Rossi, the club announced today. Rossi, 22, most recently played in the Argentine Primera Division with Atletico de Rafaela. Per league and club policy, terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
"I think Pablo is one of the more talented and technical players we have seen throughout preseason and we are very happy to have him join S2," said S2 Head Coach Ezra Hendrickson. "He has the technical ability to play at this level, and be possesses great vision and an incredible shot. You need guys with those types of qualities on the pitch. He brings the flair we need."
Rossi had an impressive preseason with the club, scoring three goals, including two strikes from direct free-kicks. His third goal was off an indirect free-kick 30 yards from goal.
Never miss a local story.
"I think this is a great club and I see this as a very important step for my career," said Rossi. "We are all trying to earn something out there, and we are trying to do the right things. I would like to score goals which is what every player wants. We are getting better day-by-day and as the weeks go by we are going to improve and do well as a team this season."
In the club's most recent scrimmage against Whitecaps FC 2, Rossi assisted on a go-ahead goal by fellow S2 signing Andy Craven. He assisted Craven on two other occasions this preseason, including one in a 3-1 scrimmage win over University of Washington last month.
