Seattle Reign FC (2-2-2) remains undefeated on the Moda Pitch at Memorial Stadium following a scoreless draw against the Chicago Red Stars (4-0-3) on Saturday, May 30 in front of a crowd of 2,367.
With the tie, Seattle captured their first clean sheet of the 2015 season and currently sits at fifth place in the NWSL standings, while Chicago was shutout for the first time this year.
Throughout a scoreless first half, Seattle and Chicago continued to press the offensive side with multiple opportunities to add a goal to the final score.

Defender Stephanie Cox started the first half action with a ball, on the defensive 40-yard line, to Scottish international Kim Little at the corner who then created a Seattle chance with a cross to forward Dani Foxhoven.
Chicago came back in the 23rd minute with a shot on goal by forward Sofia Huerta, which was denied by Seattle’s Elli Reed with a header on the goal line.
Both sides received cautions in their final match-up of the regular season, Chicago’s Colaprico at the 63rd minute and Seattle’s Merritt Mathias during second half stoppage time.
Prior to a two week World Cup break, Reign FC will look to keep their undefeated home streak going on Saturday, June 6 against the Sky Blue FC. That game is set for a 7 p.m. start.
