The Sounders were a little banged up last night in Dallas ... an especially problematic thing given that they return to league play Sunday at Toronto.
Coach Sigi Schmid said that Pat Noonan had a hamstring issue that might have impacted the Sounders' defense on the final play leading to the PK. Schmid also is unsure if Michael Fucito -- who was held out last night with a knee bruise -- will be able to go in Canada.
However, the most notable issue is the status of goalkeeper Kasey Keller, who sat out the second half after a collision with Jeff Cunningham led to blurred vision.
"He’s feeling a lot better," Schmid said. "So it’s just sort of day by day. We’ll see how he feels this evening and we’ll see how he feels tomorrow, but we’re optimistic."
Never miss a local story.
Schmid thought reserve keeper Terry Boss filled in well in his 45-minute MLS debut.
"He came up with the stops you have to make," Schmid said. "You can’t fault him on the PK. I thought his kicking was good. It was a hard situation for him to come into and I thought he did well."
