Winning puts everyone in a better mood, and there seemed to be more than the normal share of at least semi-funny lines from the Sounders today.
Jeff Parke on the same topic: "No, because I’ve been here three times. So the guys know me. They know, kind of '(Shoot), he’s back and all.' But now they know I’m going to be staying because it’s pen to paper. I’m not really worried too much about that because at the end of the day it’s playing, and it’s a group of guys in the locker room and you all go to battle. As long as you’re training and putting the effort in you can’t really fault a guy or say he’s not fitting in. I’m not that type of personality that needs all the attention and talks about me, me, me. I’ll fit in."
And then ... "I guess we’ll see how this goes, how my career goes. I’ll think about that later I guess. … I was always interested in police work: state trooper or something like that. I don’t think that’s really too much of a boring job, so I thought that would be good. I’m not really too good at sitting behind desks or anything like that."
