Celtic wins, 2-1, with Seattle playing shorthanded over the last 61 minutes due to a red-card on keeper Terry Boss that is sure to be a prime postgame topic.
Blaise Nkufo looked like a physical presence in his Sounders debut, but didn't figure in anything crucial.
It's Celtic's first win on their North American tour, and their first win in four Seattle appearances.
Meanwhile, it's the Sounders first loss in their electricity yellow kits ... although David Estrada came within inches of salvaging a draw with a sizzling stoppage-time strike.
Seattle returns to league play a week from today when the Colorado Rapids visit.

Time of Game: 1:53
75th minute: Noonan in, Vagenas out.
71st minute: Nyassi out, Zakuani in.
66th minute: David Estrada sizzles one in from the top of the penalty area just two minutes after reporting in. Celtic 2, Sounders 1. Taylor Graham gets the assist.
64th minute: Celtic moves ahead 2-0 as Milan Misun runs down the left side and crosses to Patrick McCort who beats Jennings wide from near the center of the box.
No. 1 draft pick David Estrada -- who was placed on the MLS injury list Thursday -- also has just come on for for Montano.
59th minute: Levesque and Sturgis in, Nkufo and Osvaldo out. Celtic also made a couple of subs that I didn't catch.
Second half: We've begun again.
Halftime: Celtic up, 1-0. And the moment the whistles blew, Sounders coach Sigi Schmid headed straight for referee Paul Ward, no doubt to discuss his decision to award an red card and a PK in a friendly, when a simple "play-on" would have made both clubs happier.
Stats: Seattle, seven shots, none on goal, nine fouls, one offsides, one corner. Celtic, four shots, three on goal, eight fouls, four offsides, no corners.
Bagpipe band is "entertaining."
29th minute: Celtic moves ahead 1-0 on a PK. But things didn't unfold simply. Celtic's Georgios Samaras broke free past the Seattle defense, and keeper Terry Boss came out, dived, missed the ball, but knocked Georgios down. However, Samaras still sent the ball into the goal. However, the referee did not play advantage, and instead called the PK, while also sending off Boss with a red card.
Samaras convered the PK, and the Sounders are now playing not only one man down -- Montero came off the pitch -- but non-roster player Jordan Jennings of Tacoma -- formerly of the Tide -- is now in goal.
Eighth minute: Quick impression: Nkufo is big.
Second minute: Almost a start right out of a movie script: Nkufo to Montano -- newcomer veteran to newcomer teenager -- into the box, but a nice strike goes just wide.
Kickoff: We've had the anthem (only one) and the pictures, and we're under way.
The crowd, for now at least, might be a little smaller than anticipated. No sections even close to full above in the upper-deck areas usually covered by tarp for regular season games. However, the Hawks Nest north end zone section looks about three-quarters full.
Pregame: We're just a few minutes from kickoff. I'm opening this post for pregame, in-game and postgame updates, and, as always your discussion.
Celtic in their traditional green-and-white hoops. Sounders in their very non-traditional electricity yellow. And a fair dotting of both jerseys in the crowd, as well.
Golden scarf, today, btw, goes to two-time bronze-medal winning short-track speed skater, J.R. Celski of Federal Way.
