Sounders win, 3-2. The result raises Seattle to 12-9-6 in league, and those 42 points puts them might close to wrapping up a playoff spot. Toronto falls to 8-12-8 ... meaning they can't catch Seattle and could fall completely out of playoff contention as early as this evening, depending on the San Jose result.
Seattle goals by Zakuani, Nkufo and Nyassi.
Some locker room reaction:
STEVE ZAKUANI:We’ve been on a good run overall. I think today was the best example. Parke was man of the match for me. I think he was unbelievable. He was tremendous. … As a team we played well, and we’ve been doing that for a long time. It’s just one of those things we were found how to play at a team.
BLAISE NKUFO: We knew that in the back line they don’t have players of quality and we should press them and make it difficult. I think that was the key.
JEFF PARKE on his dislocated finger: "I didn’t feel it until I looked down. It felt like a throb real quick, and I looked down and my finger was just bent on a 90 (degree angle) on top of my other finger, and I thought, ‘You better not move it, man.’ … That wasn’t the worst thing going on at the time. Once I found I the goal, I was like, ‘Gosh.’ That was more aggravating."
SANNA NYASSI on his first MLS goal:"It was exciting. After the whole season of not scoring a goal, I finally get on the scoring sheet. … (In the celebration) I jumped on Blaise and then everyone fell over me, screaming, exciting. … Since the first half I felt like it was a team I could score against. I should have scored at least two goals in the first half, but the composure wasn’t there. The second half came, I made sure that I took my chances. … I think I’ll break the deadlock now. I’ll keep scoring for sure."

88th minute: Toronto gets back into it. Just as everything seemed to be going the Sounders way, the left Chad Barrett open in front of the goal, where he headed in. Sounders up, 3-2 in stoppage time.
77th minute: Jaqua in, Nkufo out... and leaves to a great hand from the crowd.
68th minute: Nyassi out, Fernandez in.
59th minute: Sounders go up 3-1 on first MLS goal by Sanna Nyassi. Zakuani crossed from the left side, and Toronto's Adrian Cann got to it, but knocked it to the top-center of the penalty area, where Nyassi ran on and knocked it home.
55th minute: The 50-50 balls are all going to Seattle right now, as the Sounders have come out working hard.
Second half: ... has begun. No changes for Sounders.
Halftime: Sounders come from a goal down to lead 2-1. Sounders have outshot Toronto, 8-4, and put three on goal to Toronto's one.
35th minute: Nyassi is just wearing out Gargan down the right side, but he's not finding the target.
26th minute: Blaise Nkufo heads in his fifth goal over three games, giving Seattle a 2-1 lead. The play began with Chad Barrett being carded for knocking James Riley off the pitch and into the reader board. Nate Sturgis then sent the free kick into the box and right to Nkufo's head.
21st minute: Steve Zakuani beats Toronto trap on a diagonal run, goes into the box alone, jukes keeper Stefan Frei, and sends the ball into the open net, drawing Seattle even, 1-1. Assists to Alonso and Parke.
15th minute:Dwayne De Rosario puts Toronto ahead 1-0, getting free down the left side, beating Parke and Riley. Very nice assist from Santos. (Parke suffered nasty-looking finger injury, and was tended to off the pitch briefly before returning.)
First minute: Almost a huge start, and Blaise Nkufo held the ball nicely at midfield, touched on to Montero, who sent one down the right side to Nyassi, running free. However, Nyassi's shot was just wide.
