This just in from the Dynamo:
The lower bowl at Robertson Stadium is sold out, and less than 5,000 tickets remain for the Houston Dynamo’s Fan Appreciation Day against the Seattle Sounders on Saturday, the club announced today. Houston will host Seattle at (1 p.m. Pacific) Saturday afternoon in the Dynamo’s final home game of the 2010 season, presented by Amigo Energy. The clubs built a fierce rivalry with five meetings last year, including the Dynamo’s dramatic 1-0 overtime triumph in the Western Conference semifinals on November 8, 2009.
Special ticket deals, including a discounted 4-pack offer, are available at HoustonDynamo.com/tickets. Throughout the week, Fiesta customers may purchase tickets at a $10 discount at participating Fiesta locations. Match tickets are also available through Ticketmaster outlets or by calling the Dynamo at (713) 276-7500. The first 5,000 fans through the gates on Saturday will receive a free Dynamo long-sleeved replica-style jersey, courtesy of Amigo Energy. Season tickets for the Dynamo’s 2011 season are also on sale, with prices frozen at their 2010 figures through December 31. The 2011 season ticket package will include 17 MLS regular season games, the Dynamo Charities Cup, an additional international friendly, and a home playoff game.
