Sounders midfielder and MVP candidate Mauro Rosales will undergo an MRI exam this afternoon on his injured right knee. Results could be known this afternoon or tomorrow morning. (And, of course, we'll pass that along asap.)
Meanwhile, coach Sigi Schmid also gave these health updates:
On Sammy Ochoa: He’s getting fitter, and so forth. He’s a little bit heavy-legged because when you’ve been off training for three/four months and you’re about three weeks into it, that when you get no so much the real hard tiredness that you get when you’re doing hard fitness, but just more a general achiness and fatigue, and you’ve got to build through that. But I think he’s close to where he could come off the bench and play 20-30 minutes here.
On O'Brian White: O'Brian's an upbeat personality, so it’s been good. I think the last time O’Brian and I have talked was on Saturday. We talk every so often – at least three or four times a week. … His attitude: He keeps his head up, he’s ready. He wants to start progressing on things. I think this is the week they’re going to let him start to progress a little bit and then we’ll have to see how he does.
