WHO: Seattle-Tacoma Subway Restaurants, Seattle Sounders FC and families active at the Al Davies Branch - Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound.
WHAT: Sounders FC defender Marc Burch and goalkeeper Andrew Weber will provide nutrition and exercise tips during a two-hour fitness event at the Al Davies Branch - Boys & Girls Club in Tacoma.
Families will be led through a series of interactive exercises including: soccer drills, kickball, parachute and team relays.
Seattle-Tacoma Subway restaurants will provide healthy sandwiches and Sounders FC prizes to families in attendance.

Children have become heavier as well. In the past 30 years, the prevalence of childhood obesity has more than doubled among children ages 2-5, has tripled among youth ages 6-11, and has more than tripled among adolescents ages 12-19.
The Seattle-Tacoma Subway restaurants and Seattle Sounders FC are committed to provide fitness and health programming in the Seattle Tacoma area. These two organizations joined forces to reach more than 1,000 students and their family members last year.
