Yesterday, the question was asked of defender Jeff Parke.
"Yeah," he said. "In my opinion, yeah; for sure. They didn’t take their foot off the pedal. They didn’t leave anything from the game against San Jose. They scored three big goals. Then we defended well in the first half, except for the last minute of the first half. But they just put the pressure on for 15-20 minutes, wave after wave, and we just didn’t do enough of a good job. It’s something we look at and say, ‘Yeah, maybe they’ve got some good players, but we’ve got to do a better job of defending.'"
After training today at Starfire, the question was asked of coach Sigi Schmid.
"I think when Landon and Keane are on their game, I think they’re probably the best forward pair in the league," he said. "In terms of just experience and mobility and speed and quickness. They’re very very dangerous. They’re an experienced pair and guys who have been through a lot of battles. Right now at this moment, the last couple of games, they’ve been very sharp. So it’s more at this point in time, right now, they’re very sharp; they’re on form."
