On the transfer window: It’s been like every window that opens: It’s really busy and the agents are pumping players your way. We have some guys that we’re looking at. We have some cash available to look for players, but we’re still pursuing the search and really active, but we’ll see how it plays out.
On Sounders ability to sign identified target(s): We have some flexibility, not a bunch at the moment. In the scouting department we scout a kind of broad range, but really aggressive. But we have to see whether it’s able to fit in our cap and if we’d have to make moves or we’d have to figure out what works in the moment. On whether the Fredy Montero loan worked for both parties: I think for Fredy the experience of trying something else. I think he had success here with the Sounders, so for him to be able to try it in Europe or try it in Central America again to see where he’s at I think that was great for him. I think, as I said, he was very important for us in our success in getting to the playoffs every year, and winning Open Cup. So I think we’re both happy where we’re at. I think he has great feelings for the club. You never know, in the future to see Fredy back in a Sounders jersey would be great for everyone.
On whether Mario Martinez is gone for good: That’s another one too, that’s still up in the air. To say it’s closed: Nothing is closed until it’s completed and signed and things like that. So, I think it’s still open with him.
