The Sounders have completed local training for their 7:30 p.m. Saturday match with the LA Galaxy. This afternoon they will travel to Southern California -- and coach Sigi Schmid said the travel party will include midfielders Brad Evans, newcomer Adam Moffat and No. 2 goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann.
Evans and Hahnemann had been questionable most of the week due to injury, but Schmid indicated that Evans seems ready, while Hahnemann is close enough to travel, although the coach is keeping his options open.
"(Evans) looks all right so we’re taking him with us and we’ll figure it out," Schmid said. "… Marcus today was much, much, much better, so we’re going to take him with us. We’ll take Doug Herrick along with us as well, just in case there’s anything that comes up. But Marcus was much better today."
