That's been a theme at different points this season, and veteran defender Djimi Traore brought it up again Monday in a difference context, noting how the Sounders reacted at halftime, even when trailing 1-0.
"There was great atmosphere," he said. "Even at halftime, you could see like we have a great atmosphere. One goal down, even in halftime, players make joke. I think in that kind of thing you can see the difference between last year and this season. It’s like bonding between the players. That’s a big thing. We respond very well this year."
