The Sounders aren't training today, but there was a bit of good news for the club as the U.S. national team tweeted that Yedlin is among a handful of players being released before the Tuesday match against Ireland in Dublin.
That means Yedlin should be with his team for most or all training leading up to the Western Conference final opener Nov. 23 at Los Angeles.
There could be additional club news this evening, as Sounders owner Joe Roth is scheduled to meet with local media as part of the annual Alliance Business meeting:
Sounders FC, in partnership with the Alliance Council, is hosting the Alliance Annual Business Meeting on Saturday, November 15 at the Paramount Theater. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. PST with the meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Sounders FC players, coaches and front office members will be on-hand for the event. The meeting is open to Season Ticket Members, who can continue to RSVP online via sndrs.com/3mmy.
This year's meeting marks the sixth edition of the Alliance's Annual Business Meeting, and the first held at the historic Paramount Theater. Sounders FC Majority Owner Joe Roth, Owner and General Manager Adrian Hanauer, Owner Drew Carey, Chief Operating Officer Bart Wiley and additional Sounders FC personnel will present a state of the club address before a question-and-answer session with Season Ticket Members.
The 2014 Supporters' Shield and Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup will be on-hand for photo opportunities with Season Ticket Members. Following the meeting, the Kris Orlowski Band - a Seattle-based indie folk rock group that has previously performed at the March to the Match - is set to perform at the Paramount.
