On Frei: He feels much better today. It’s just a situation of range of motion and pain – how he deals with those things. For Chicago it’s probably a little bit touch and go, but we’ll see. But we don’t think it’s going to be a long-term thing. He had an X-ray this morning; we don’t have the results of that. We’ll wait until all that gets looked at.
On Troy Perkins stepping into starting role: That’s the reason we signed Troy. He’s an experienced goalkeeper, he’s been around the league. He’s played, so he knows what it’s all about. As with any goalkeeper, when you’re not getting a lot of games sometimes you have to work on your timing more and you can’t get that timing unless you’re in games. But his experience, his shot-blocking ability, his ability to read the games are certainly things he brings.
On the new No. 2 behind Perkins: We have Charlie Lyon who has been playing with S2, as well. If Stafan can’t go, he’ll move up.
On Friberg arrival and availability: We’re waiting right now. There’s a delay in the visa ... so he’s just waiting for his visa so he can get on a plain and come.
