CommentsSEATTLE - A 60-year-old man allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl after she was lured to his home by his son, said the Lake Forest Park Police Department.
According to court documents, the 15-year-old girl said she was lured to the home in the 15600 block of 35th Avenue Northeast in Lake Forest Park on July 21 by her friend, 18-year-old Victor Casarez Jr.
The victim told police he gave her a drink laced with what she thought was vodka. Police later found it also contained a generic form of the sleep drug Ambien, documents stated.
She said she awoke to find his father, 60-year-old Victor Casarez Sr., on top of her. She said he raped her and that he photographed her while doing so.
Afterward, she says, Casarez Sr. gave her a bracelet and told her he would put the photographs online if she told anyone what happened.
A search warrant was served on the home and Lake Forest police said they found evidence to support the victim's allegations, but would not go into the details.
“We're still contacting a few witnesses. That could take place next week. And until we actually speak with everybody who may know about the case, we're not releasing the exact details,” said Det. Tony Matthews.
Casarez Sr. was booked in the King County Jail on July 22 and is being held on $1 million bail. He is charged with indecent liberties, third-degree rape of a child and sexual exploitation of a minor, Matthews said.
If convicted, it would be his third strike and he could be sentenced to life in prison.
Charges have also been filed against his 18-year-old son for indecent liberties and possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. He is not currently in custody.
KIRO 7 learned Casarez Sr. has an extensive federal and state criminal record, including a 1973 rape conviction. Court documents also state there are at least three other young female victims.
Those allegations could result in more charges.
