Fircrest police are asking for help to identify a bank robber who hit the First Citizens Bank on Monday in the 1900 block of 64th Avenue West.
Police say the man entered the bank, walked up to the teller and presented a note saying he was armed, then demanded cash. He grabbed the money and ran out of the bank, and headed west, police said.
The bank branch was previously Venture Bank.
He is a white male in his early 20s with a slender to medium build. He was wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes, a brown baseball hat with a brown hooded sweatshirt worn over a green hooded sweatshirt.
Tacoma Pierce County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and charges.
