Hoquiam: Six-year-old boy hurt when he runs in front of car
CommentsA young Hoquiam boy was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Saturday night after he ran in front of a car and was struck, Washington State Patrol troopers reported.
Six-year-old Andrew Metz suffered leg and head injuries after he ran in front of a car from between two cars parked on Lincoln Street in Hoquiam around 7:45 p.m., the State Patrol reported. A 2007 Ford Fusion driven by a 51-year-old woman struck Andrew on the right side, troopers reported.
The woman will not face charges, troopers reported.
