Hoquiam: Six-year-old boy hurt when he runs in front of car
A young Hoquiam boy was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Saturday night after he ran in front of a car and was struck, Washington State Patrol troopers reported.
Six-year-old Andrew Metz suffered leg and head injuries after he ran in front of a car from between two cars parked on Lincoln Street in Hoquiam around 7:45 p.m., the State Patrol reported. A 2007 Ford Fusion driven by a 51-year-old woman struck Andrew on the right side, troopers reported.
The woman will not face charges, troopers reported.
