Map the Vote: Voter Turnout by County
Washington voters turned out in heavy numbers for this year's general election. The total votes cast will be about 2.56 million out of 3.6 million registered. That's 71.18 percent, higher than any mid-term election since 1970 and well above turnout in the last several mid-term elections. But voter turnout ranged widely from place to place, from nearly 85 percent in Columbia County to 63 percent in Yakima. This map shows voter turnout by county.

Depending on your connection speed, the map may take several seconds to load.
Tips: Click the "X" on the "Layers" element to remove it. Click on a county to see its turnout.
