Get ready to RV at first show of the season
The Tacoma RV Show will fill the Tacoma Dome this weekend with hundreds of the latest makes and models. Hours are 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday (Jan. 19) and Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. The Comedy Get Down Tour will highlight some of comedy’s biggest stars with Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, D.L. Hughley and George Lopez. The show will be at 8 p.m. Saturday at Key Arena, 305 Harrison St., Seattle. Tickets are $45.75-$85.75 and can be bought through Ticketmaster.

Trains galore at expo in Puyallup
The Great Train Expo will features 200 to 500 tables of train dealers offering hobby tools, die-cast vehicles and more. Hours for the national traveling show at the Washington State Fair Events Center, 110 Ninth Ave. SW, Puyallup, are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $9 or $10 for a two-day ticket. Tony Award-winning play at Tacoma Little Theatre
Tacoma Little Theatre will bring “Children of a Lesser God,” the love story of a speech teacher and janitor at a school for the deaf, to the stage from Friday (Jan.19) to Feb. 4. The play is the winner of Tony, Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk awards. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 2 p.m. Sundays. Traditional dances at Gansango: The Rhythms and Dance of West Africa
Gansango: The Rhythms and Dance of West Africa will present traditional dance from Benin, including Vodoun ritualistic dances and regional social ceremony dances, at the Karshner Museum & Center for Culture & Arts, 309 Fourth St. NE, Puyallup.
