Marc Cohn and the Blind Boys of Alabama come to Pantages
Known for the iconic song “Walking in Memphis,” Marc Cohn is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his Grammy Award-winning album with a series of special concerts that include original works dating back to the early days of his career. Joining him on stage are the Blind Boys of Alabama. They will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pantages Theater, 901 Broadway, Tacoma. Boats, boats and more boats at Seattle show
The Seattle Boat Show — with more than 450 exhibitors and more than 1,000 boats on display — will kick off Friday (Jan. 26) and continue through Feb. 3 at three locations. The shows will offer everything from stand-up paddleboards to luxury yachts, along with more than 200 free fishing and boating seminars. A free shuttle will run continuously among the locations — CenturyLink Field Event Center, Bell Harbor Marina and South Lake Union. Parking is free with purchase of tickets online. Outdoors extravaganza at sportsmen’s show
Billed as the biggest show of its kind in the state, the annual Washington Sportsmen’s Show at the Washington State Fair Events Center, 110 Ninth Ave. SW, Puyallup, will have manufacturers, retailers, guides and outfitters to show you everything you will need to know to hit the outdoors. Hours are noon-8 p.m. Friday (Jan. 26), 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $15 for one day, $24 for a two-day pass, $5 for children 6-16 years old. Everything for home and garden at Tacoma Dome show
To find the right expert, learn about new products or take in a how-to seminar and much more, check out the annual Tacoma Home & Garden Show this weekend. The Vintage Market will showcase repurposed items from local vendors. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday (Jan. 26) and Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the Tacoma Dome, 2727 E. D St., Tacoma. Admission is $12.

Federal Way Symphony performs intimate concert
The Federal Way Symphony will present “From Vienna With Love” at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Federal Way Performing Arts & Event Center, 31510 Peter von Reichbauer Way S., Federal Way. The symphony will perform music from Mozart, Mahler and Schubert, and feature artists Ikka Talvi, Marjorie Kransberg-Talvi, Mara Finkelstein and William Chapman Nyaho. Tickets are $45. Formerly a writer for “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” and a cast member on “Angie Tribeca,” Deon Cole most recently has appeared on the comedy “Black-ish” as Charlie Telphy. He’ll appear on stage at the Tacoma Comedy Club, 933 Market St., Tacoma, at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
