Tacoma actor Nathan Gamble, the star of “Dolphin Tale,” will introduce the just-released sequel to the film, “Dolphin Tale 2,” at Regal Auburn Stadium 17 on Saturday.
Gamble will sign autographs for fans after the show.
The new movie, which opened on Friday, was number two at the box office pulling in $15.8 million in 3,600 theaters.
Gamble plays the character Sawyer in both films. The first film followed the development of a prosthetic tale for a rescued dolphin named Winter.

In the second film several years have gone by at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter’s surrogate dolphin mother dies leaving Winter alone and unwilling to engage with anyone including Sawyer. A search for a new companion becomes the central story.
