Elton John will once again make a stop in Tacoma on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, the musician announced Tuesday.

His final tour, which has winded its way around the globe since it began in 2018, will include two nights at the Tacoma Dome in October.

He will light up the Dome on Oct. 16 and 17, and tickets go on sale starting at 10 a.m. April 6.

The 11 new tour dates are supposedly John’s final shows in North America on his tour that has hit five continents in five years to mark the musician’s retirement from touring. The same tour brought him to the Tacoma Dome in 2019.

“It has been nothing short of incredible,” John said in a video announcing the performances. “And I look forward to seeing you very soon one last time.”

John will perform July 24 in East Rutherford, New Jersey; July 27 in Foxboro, Massachusetts; Sept. 8 in Toronto, Ontario; Oct. 8 in Santa Clara, California; Oct. 16 and 17 in Tacoma, Washington; Oct. 22 in Vancouver, British Columbia; Nov. 9 in San Diego, California; Nov. 11 in Phoenix, Arizona and Nov. 17 in Los Angeles, California.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the Heritage Bank Box Office at the Tacoma Dome or online at ticketmaster.com. American Express card members will be able to buy tickets early, from 10 a.m. March 30 to 10 p.m. April 5.
