Enumclaw Pro Rodeo opens Thursday and continues through Saturday
It’s a big-time rodeo with a small town feel at the Enumclaw Pro Rodeo opening Thursday at the Enumclaw Expo Center, 45224 284th Ave. SE, Enumclaw, and continues through Saturday. Gates open at 6 p.m. each night with the rodeo beginning at 7 p.m. There will be live concerts after the Friday and Saturday night rodeos featuring Dakota Poorman in the beer garden. Tickets are $15, $10 for children and 12 and younger, free for active and retired military, seniors 65 and older and 5 and younger. For more information go to enumclawprorodeo.com
Tacoma Comedy Club bring John Roy to the stage
John Roy cut his teeth in the comedy world performing on “Conan,” “The Tonight Show” and the “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” He will performing at 8 p.m. Thursday, 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Tacoma Comedy Club, 933 Market St., Tacoma. First track - job track class will prepare job seekers with tech readiness plus a career kickstart. Partnering with WorkSource, Pierce County Libraries offers a variety of resources for those looking for employment. The classes include skills in Word and Excel, creating a new resumé and cover letter. Homework with the check out of a Chromebook text book is also offered.
