Community meals for Thanksgiving

Peace Out, a youth community service program will serve a free turkey meal for the community at noonThursday. It is being held University Place Primary School, 2708 Grandview Drive W., University Place.

Saint Francis House, 622 Fourth Ave. E., Puyallup, will serve a free holiday meal at 1:30 p.m. Thursday for the community. It is at 622 Fourth Ave. E., Puyallup

Veterans of Foreign War Post 2224, 120 Seconn St. NE, Puyallup, will host a free meal for the public from 1-3 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Donations are welcome.

Summit Pub, 9502 Canyon Road E., Tacoma, is providing turkey and guests are asked to bring a dish for a potluck dinner on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

Bethany United Methodist, 5634 S. Park Ave., Tacoma, will serve a free holiday meal for the community from 4-7 p.m. Thursday. Reservations are preferred — call 253-475-7098 — but all are welcome.

Oasis of Hope Foundation, 1937 S. G St., Tacoma, will serve a turkey dinner catered by Popeyes from 10 a.m.-noon Thursday andd there will be free clothing and food bank items.

Peoples Community Center, 1602 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Tacoma is serving a free meal for the homeless from noon-4 p.m.Thursday. Everyone is welcome.
