Martin Luther King Jr. Day breakfast: Annual MLK Unity Breakfast to recognize and celebrate the legacy of King and his historic civic leadership that inspired a nation to strive for equality. MLK Day event: 30th annual celebration featuring hip-hop artist and community activist. Jasiri X will be keynote speaker. Event includes messages from the community and live music. At 7 p.m. Jan. 19 at Schneebeck Concert Hall, University of Puget Sound, 1500 N. Warner St., Free.
