Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum “Diplomacy of the War of 1812,” “The Beginning of the Road to War of 1812,” “The Monroe Pinkney Treaty” and more original documents on display through April 28. Get healthy for the new year at the Annual Do Something Healthy Event sponsored by MultiCare featuring Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard talking about her journey to the podium. It is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, come out to the Tacoma Bicentennial Plaza, 1320 Broadway Plaza, Tacoma, to join in.
