Hip hop superstars Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa will headline The High Road Summer Tour, which will include a stop Sept. 2 at the White River Amphitheater.
The duo’s 33-city North American tour will begin July 20 in West Palm Beach, Florida. There will be a show Sept. 1 in Portland, with the tour coming to an end at the Auburn venue.
Having already performed together in music and film, this is the first time they will take to the stage in a one-of-a-kind joint performance, according to Monday’s news release announcing the tour. The show will certainly include their collaborations “You and Your Friends” and Grammy-nominated “Young, Wild and Free.”
Since 1993, Snoop Dogg has released 13 albums, selling more than 35 million copies. According to the release, he is working on a new album, “High Definition,” due out this summer.

Khalifa gained mainstream notoriety with the 2011 release of his major label debut album “Rolling Papers.” That year he was named the best new artists at the BET Awards and a year later at the Billboard Music Awards. He released his latest album, “Khalifa,” in February.
Also performing at White River will be Kevin Gates, Jhene Aiko, Casey Veggies and DJ Drama.
Tickets for the show will go on sale at noon Friday.
