D STREET POTTERY SALE

Late summer means the annual D Street Pottery Sale, where you can find new, older and seconds pieces by local ceramic artists at discounted studio prices. Among the artists this year are Kazumi Diven-Cogez, Susan Thompson, Jill Rohrbaugh, and Lucy Nilan. The sale runs 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at 717 N. D St., Tacoma. Admission is free.

T-TOWN CABARET AT TMP

Tacoma Musical Playhouse’s second cabaret evening this Friday features harpist Twyla Eddins and vocalists Brynn Garrett and Nancy Herbert performing theatrical songs in an intimate setting with wine, beer and light snacks. MORSO WINE BAR ARTIST RECEPTION

STADIUM FARE OUTDOOR MARKET

Find one-of-a-kind wares from plants to knits, soap to sweets at the Stadium Fare outdoor market, held the last two Saturdays in August and September. This Saturday features a scavenger hunt.
